for Visitors to Jamaica
These guidelines are subject to change at any time.
Prior to departure, please double-check the requirements by visiting the Jamaican Travel Authorization page or contacting your airline.
To enter JAMAICA:
Traveling to Jamaica has become easier with the relaxation of Covid-19 travel restrictions since March 1, 2022.
- Visitors do not need to obtain a Travel Authorization to enter Jamaica.
- Persons are free to move within the island while maintaining social distance and mask wearing protocols in public.
- Travelers are now required to complete the immigration form at the airport or online available at https://enterjamaica.com
- Travelers 12 years and older still need to provide a negative COVID-19 test (Antigen or PCR) conducted within 3 days of the date of travel at check-in for their flight.
To leave JAMAICA:
United States citizens: Travelers are required to show a negative COVID-19 viral test result taken no more than 1 day before travel, OR documentation of having recovered from COVID-19, before they board their flight Resource: International Travel | CDC
Canadian citizens: Starting April 1, 2022, pre-entry tests are no longer required for fully vaccinated travelers entering Canada.Unvaccinated and partially vaccinated children 5 years of age or older must provide a valid pre-entry test result, even if they are accompanying a fully vaccinated adult. Children who are less than 5 years old are not required to test, regardless of their vaccination status. Resource: Travel.gc.ca

COVID Testing Information
